The Lengthening Beam is used to stretch a ski boot length wise. By removing the lateral and medial die and removing the rear piece of the lenghtening beam the TJS is inserted into the beam. Reassemble the rear piece of the lengthener.
Using the LENGTHENING BEAM:
Insert the the Lengthening Beam in to the shell of the boot.
Adjust the frontal die by moving it forward or backward in the alotted holes so that it engages the shell of the boot with the TJS fully closed.
Turn thumb knob until pressure is aquired.
Heat desired area to be stretched to 300 degrees.
Turn thumb knob until the boot stretches to desired length.
NOTE: You can angle the attack of the push by angling the "Big Hal" in the Lengthening Beam.
